“Our milk solids sold per cow to September 30th has increased over 7% with 2 less cows than last year. This was achieved with no increase in meal fed and a decrease in nitrogen use. Slurrycal is helping in that nitrogen reduction. We are seeing a better response to slurry in terms of grass growth and a marked increase in clover in our fields; in some cases where clover had all but disappeared from paddocks. The power in the slurry is allowing us to reduce our chemical nitrogen use which encourages clover growth and the cows are responding in the milk tank I am very impressed with Slurrycal and am delighted that we made the switch to it.”

You don’t need to be a football player to know what a fantastic resource The Neale GAA club and pitch is in our parish for players of all ages from Cong, Cross and The Neale. It’s fair to say that everyone has great memories associated with the pitch, from participating in training, summer camps or community games, to cheering on friends and family in their matches, and the more recent ‘Ireland Lights Up’ walks! As the main sponsor of the club we were delighted to work in partnership with The Neale GAA team to help enhance this wonderful community amenity by giving the car park a new fresh look. On this project we completed all the drainage works and installed all light ducting for car park lighting in the future, marking out 90 car parking spaces ensuring that the pitch can be enjoyed for many more years to come! #McGrathsLimestone #NealeGAA #community
